This weekend CNE hosted an HB certification at UNH. There were 17 candidates in all, from both CNE and surrounding regions. Needless to say, it was quite a large undertaking. 8 candidates testing were from CNE.
Please welcome me in congratulating our 5 new HBs:
Chelsea Hoyt- Wentworth
Abby Niles- Norfolk Hunt
Deme Smith- Wentworth
Sadie Snell- Wentworth
A couple of candidates will need to retest some missed sections, but I expect they will obtain their certification shortly. All our members did a fantastic job and we should be very proud! Wendy
All qualifying teams will be REQUIRED to attend a prep day during CNE camp July 12-15. The fee will be $100 per team member. Teams will have two mounted lessons, horse management prep, and put their rally kit/tack room equipment together for championships. This will be a great opportunity to bond as a team and ensure that we are representing our region as best we can. Contact Amanda Ellis, Regional Supervisor at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Camp Application
All applications for the July certification at UNH need to be submitted on the USPC website by April 18th.If you are rating at another test site in August, be sure to check the deadline for that testing. If you are having a problem or have any questions please let me know as soon as possible. Finally, here is the application for the May 28th HB one day prep camp at UNH. This is highly recommended for anyone taking their certification since we will held it in the same format as your certification. Please return your applications as soon as possible so I can get a head count. There is a fee for this camp to cover the clinician expenses. we also ask the parents/candidates to help control expenses by helping with breakfast and lunch items. Please let me know what you’d like to bring. You can send a check for just the camp or you can also include the $100 facility fee that we will be charging for the certification. So if you are keeping track, there is a charge for the one day camp, payable to CNE, a charge to take the certification (that is paid online to USPC) and a $100 charge also payable to CNE for all candidates certifying at UNH, to be paid any time prior to the certification. This fee covers the cost of the facility and the housing expenses for the National Examiners that we are responsible for. Feel free to call Wendy any time with questions or concerns.
